The easyAIRDROP contains the fully approved AIS S.A.R.T. transmitter easyRESCUE-A. An automatic triggering function activates the unit by means of full water contact and thus sends ans AIS S.A.R.T. alert radio signal repeatedly.

The housing of the easyAIRDROP is made of floatable plastic and is wrapped in a water-soluble foil. When exposed to water the foil dissolves and the device is activated automatically and starts sending an AIS S.A.R.T. emergency message.

What is necessary to run the easyAIRDROP?

The BSH and SOLAS approved AIS S.A.R.T. transmitter easyRESCUE is integrated in every easyAIRDROP. In case of an emergency you simply throw the easyAIRDROP into the water. That's it! The rest happens automatically. The device activates itself and sends a repetitive AIS emergency signal several times a minute, which contains the current GPS position.

This emergency signal can be received in a range of up to 25 nautical miles, depending on the wave height and the height of the receiver antenna.

The service interval for the easyAIRDROP is after use or after 5 years, whichever comes first.

A functon test may be carried out.
